Courseware On Site (COS), a system by Intellimation offered at the University of Southern California, is an interactive kiosk with a touch-sensitive screen that allows users to test, evaluate, and purchase their choice of more than 200 educator-developed programs from Intellimation’s Library for the Macintosh. The system is also supported by Apple Computer Inc. The system is designed to bring a wide variety of educational software to the college market, encouraging educators to develop and publish programs that benefit other educators and students in a particular field.
